Cup of Arc Experience
Starting from International Colleges For Excellence, Inc. Look for a tricycle and ask the tricycle driver to take you to a cafe named Cup of Arc at Nancayasan Bypass Road, in front of the Shell Gasoline Station, beside the new 7/11 branch at Nancayasan Bypass Road. There are two ways to get there: going left or going right. On the left side, you will pass the Annex Magic Mall, Church, and the 168, you will also pass SM Urdaneta Central going there, and while on the right side, just go straight and you will get under the bypass, turn left, and go straight until you see the Shell Gasoline Station. From school, the fare is 50 pesos, but it still depends on the tricycle driver whether you are alone or not.
I ordered a cafe latte, and the first thing that caught my senses was the warm, roasted aroma of the coffee blending softly with the creamy scent of milk. The flavor was smooth and mellow, with the boldness of the espresso gently cushioned by the milk's subtle sweetness. Every sip felt comforting and rich, wrapping around the palate with a silky texture that made it easy to linger over. It’s the kind of drink that feels like a quiet pause in the day — simple, familiar, and deeply satisfying.
I ordered oat latte, for my taste buds the taste of this drink is more on bitter side than milky or sweet, but if you’re someone like me that prefers a latte that’s bitter then you should try this one. Another thing is, you can really smell the aroma of the oat latte after it served to you since the coffee holds a strong aroma it can also give comfort to those coffee/latte lovers out there.
The drink that I ordered is strawberry butterscotch seasalt latte, you can smell the milky-sweetness of the caramel and strawberry. The taste of the drink's milkiness balances the sweet and sour-ish taste of the strawberry and the sweetness of butterscotch. It has a creamy and smooth texture with a bits of strawberry. The flavor travels around your taste buds that gives a refreshed feeling like you're at the seaside eating strawberry.
I ordered Cafe Latte, The espresso provided a strong base, with notes of dark chocolate and a pleasant bitterness that wasn't overwhelming. The balance between espresso and milk was ideal, resulting in a well balanced blend of flavors and textures. However, their drinks/coffee are good but if you’re not into strong or bitter coffee, I suggest that you better tell them how many shot of coffee you want, for you to enjoy your drink and to balance the bitterness of the coffee. Plus, my friends ordered some of their pastries like Choco Chips Muffin and Biscoff Croissant, The muffin itself had a slightly sweet crumb, perfectly balanced and not too sweet, the Biscoff Croissant was the star of the show, the flaky and buttery layers of the croissant were perfectly achieved with a satisfying crunch.
